My Place Tree Panel

You cannot close this panel but you can hide it by clicking its push-pin.

You can drag features around, rename features and access commands when right-clicking a feature.

While dragging a feature:

To expand a collapsed Folder or Document (container), hover over the container name for a few seconds.
To collapse a Folder or Document (container), hover over the minus node of the container for a few seconds.
The tree will automatically scroll up or down the list when the dragged feature is close to the top or bottom edge of the tree client area.
When dropping a feature on a feature other than a container feature, the dropped feature will be added above it.
When dropping a feature on a feature container, the dropped feature will be added as the last feature of that container.

Newly added features will be appended into the My Place Tree according to the selected feature. For example, if the selected feature is a Placemark, the new feature will be added at the bottom of its parent container. If the selected feature is a Folder or Document feature, it will be appended at the bottom as a child of that container.

Opens the Shared Styles/Style Maps dialog.

Add a new Document feature. Document features can contain shared styles.

Add a New Folder.

Add a Network Link.

Delete the selected feature.

Nodes: 28 This is the count of all the nodes (features).

140.05 KB Total size in bytes including all dependant local files (jpg, png, swf, etc..).

104.8 KB Total size in bytes of the compressed KMZ file.
