See also: Creating a new Path
Defines a connected set of line segments (Path). Use Line Style to specify the color, color mode, and width of the line. When a Line is extruded, the line is extended to the ground, forming a Polygon that looks somewhat like a wall or fence. For extruded Line, the line itself uses the current Line Style, and the extrusion uses the current Poly Style.
When not Clamp to... you can set the altitude of all Path
nodes or, set each node individually. Alternatively when creating the Path
you can change the Preview value before each node you add. When you finish
creating the path, in the Geometry
tab » Path tab change from Clamp to
to something else.
When Selected option, you can change the altitude value directly in the grid.
Altitude mode
Specifies how the Altitude is interpreted. Possible values are:
Extrude
Specifies whether to connect the Line to the ground. To extrude a Line, the value for Altitude mode must be either Relative to Ground or Absolute, and the Altitude component within the coordinates element must be greater than 0 (in the air). The vertices in the Line are extruded toward the center of the Earth's sphere.
Specifies whether to allow the Line to follow the terrain. To enable tessellation, the value for Altitude mode must be Clamp to Ground. Very large Lines should enable tessellation so that they follow the curvature of the earth otherwise they may go underground and be hidden.
