Polygon

Defines a closed line string for the Outer Boundary of the Polygon. Optionally, an Inner Boundary can also be used to create holes in the Polygon. A Polygon can contain multiple Inner Boundary elements.

The grids (tupples) have a small popup menu where you can delete the selected row(s) or change the Altitude of the selected row(s). Just right the grid left corner to select all rows or left-click a cell. You can use Shift+Click or CTRL+Click to select multiple rows.

* Indicates an empty row ready to insert coordinates.
  Add a new Inner Boundary
Expand/collapse the selected Inner Boundary
Delete the selected Inner Boundary

Note: In Google Earth, a Polygon with an Altitude mode of clampToGround follows the great circle.

Extrude

Specifies whether to connect the Linear Ring (outer boundary or inner boundary) to the ground. To extrude this geometry, the Altitude mode must be either relativeToGround or absolute, and the Altitude component within the coordinates rows must be greater than 0 (in the air). Only the vertices of the Linear Ring are extruded, not the center of the geometry. The vertices are extruded toward the center of the Earth's sphere.

Tessellate

Specifies whether to allow the Linear Ring to follow the terrain. To enable tessellation, the value for Altitude mode must be clampToGround. Very large Linear Rings should enable tessellation so that they follow the curvature of the earth otherwise they may go underground and be hidden.

Altitude mode

Specifies how the Altitude components in the coordinates element are interpreted. Possible values:

Coordinates (Longitude and Latitude are required)
Four or more rows, each consisting of floating point values for longitude, latitude, and altitude. The altitude component is optional. The last coordinate must be the same as the first coordinate. Coordinates are expressed in decimal degrees only.
